Lecture Notes
Keeping up with notes in lectures can be really hard, especially when a lot of what you're learning will contain vocabulary you've never heard before.
There are a few ways to take notes, all of which will fall under two categories: written or typed.
Experimenting with what sort of notes are most effective for you may take some time, but it'll be worth it.

Personally, I found it difficult to make effective notes in lectures. Making short notes in the lectures, and going over the lecture slides/recording at home and additional details is a super effective way of making sure you've covered everything. This will also help in exam season - you'll know you have accurate notes and won't need to re-read lectures.
Don't beat yourself up if its tricky to pay attention in lectures - I found it super hard to concentrate learning new material all day! Everyone has a different method of learning! Studying in groups can also be a great way to have fun whilst learning, and to discuss topics that you might be unsure of.
